Abbiamo curato, nel corso degli anni, la realizzazione di tutte le funzionalità e dell'integrazione con i vari sistemi di biglietteria. Tutto il portale è stato realizzato “from the scratch”, cioè senza utilizzare alcun modulo o pacchetto precompilato, ottenendo la massima espandibilità.

Il dialogo in tempo reale con i software convenzionati è ottenuto mediante diverse tecnologie: dal semplice file di scambio via FTP, perfezionato poi con un gateway HTTP e delle CGI ad hoc, allo scambio dati in formato XML, alla più recente interazione tramite WebServices SOAP.

Dall'interfaccia di amministrazione (backend) i singoli teatri/organizzatori possono gestire ogni aspetto delle vendite, dall' editing delle schede spettacolo alla generazione di riepiloghi contabili.Il software è scritto utilizzando Zope per la generazione dell' HTML, Python per le logiche più complesse e per i demoni che gestiscono l'integrazione con gli altri software di biglietteria, PostgreSQL per la base dati, PL/PGSQL per le Stored Procedure.

Il portale vende 70.000 biglietti / anno e conta 100.000 utenti registrati sul territorio nazionale.

L'invio delle newsletter agli utenti registrati, di pari passo con quanto fornito ad, avviene su un server dedicato ottimizzato: inviare 300.000 newsletter alla settimana non è un gioco da ragazzi :-)

Il sito conta oltre 1.300.000 pagine viste / mese e oltre 300.000 visitatori unici. Il notevole carico computazionale è bilanciato su tre diverse istanze di Zope, in una architettura ridondante simile al clustering.
